Design FAQ's
Q. Why are your Web Pages
So Inexpensive? top
A. For two reasons:
- our Designs are already created, so you don't have to pay web
design fees
- you are supplying the Content, so you don't have to pay us to
write it for you
Q. What is the Account Setup Fee for?
top
A. For processing your order, setting up our web server to
house your website, and uploding your web pages for you to view.
This is a one-time charge per website
Q. Is the Account Setup Fee charged
again to Add Extra Pages? top
A. No. When you purchase more web pages from our Website
"Add-ons" Page, you will not be charged any setup fee
. . . if you purchased a different Design you would be charged again.
Q. Why is there a $5 / page Fee to
configure Navigation? top
A. You want a working website, don't you? We only charge
$5 / page to create links to all your Web Pages in all your Navigation
Menus, and at the bottom of each page.
Q. If I buy a Design, how much time can
I take to create my Content? top
A. Take as long as you like. Your Account will be set up,
and waiting for you. When you complete a page you can email us your
files, or you can email us multiple files as attachments. We will
create your Web Pages as we receive your files. We will post them
for you to view, and configure your navigation in the order you
want - after all your pages have been created.

should be able to see how we did it, copy our coding, and easily
add more page links.
QuickWeb
(HTML Generator) FAQ's
Q.
What is QuickWeb? top
A. It's our Free online HTML Generator. We call it QuickWeb
because it can convert simple Text into properly coded Web Pages
that you can view instantly. You don't need to know HTML or learn
any programming languages, QuickWeb does all the coding for you!
Q.
How does QuickWeb Work? top
A. QuickWeb is like a web "form", that breaks a
document into Parts. There is an empty box for each part (Page Title,
Header1, Paragraph1, etc.) . . . All you have to do is FILL IN THE
BOXES by typing in your text (or copy some text, then paste it into
the boxes). When you click the "Make My Web Page" button,
QuickWeb processes each box (form elements) and writes the proper
HTML "tags" to create a formatted web page!
Q.
How much does QuickWeb Cost? top
A. QuickWeb is Free to use as often as you want.
Q.
What should I do with my QuickWeb Page after I create it?
top
A. If you like the page, Save it to disc or all your
work will be lost! If you notice a mistake, or would liked
to change some wording, etc. . . . Hit your Browser's BACK BUTTON
to make changes. Once you are satisfied, Save your Page to Disc!
Q. How should I Save my QuickWeb Page after
I create it? top
A. From your Web Browser Menu (top of screen)
- click on "File" and from the drop down menu
choose "Save As"
- on Internet Explorer an "Alert" box will appear, click
"OK" to save it anyway
- choose where to save it to (3 1/2" floppy (drive:A)
or create a Folder on Desktop, etc.)
- type in a File Name such as Products for your products
page, home for homepage, etc.
- click "Save" and remember where you saved
it to!
Q. How can I turn my QuickWeb Pages
into a Website? top
A. We can link your web pages together to configure your
Navigation for only $5 per page! Just go to our Website "Add-ons"
page and choose "link web pages" from the links
at the left.
Q. Why should I get a Design applied
to QuickWeb? top
A. If you want a good looking WEBSITE, you'll need some kind
of Design. Custom Web Design can be expensive, but 3zWeb
Designs can be applied to QuickWeb Pages for as little as $10
each!

Design FAQ's
Q. What does uploading mean?
top
A. In order for people to be able to view your website, you
need to transfer all of your website files to a web server at your
internet address. This includes all of your web pages, images, scripts,
and anything else you want people to see or use on your Site.
Q. What is a web server?
top
A. A web server is a computer that will "host" (hold)
your site, and "serve" (display) your files to any person
that types in your URL (internet address). Commercial Hosting Companies
"lease" you space on their web server for a monthly fee.
These Web
Hosting Plans vary in Size, Speed, and Cost. If you have
a Domain Name (ie. something.com), you will need to purchase a Hosting
Plan for your web pages to display the proper internet address.
Q. What does uploading require?
top
A. Four things:
- A Hosting Plan or space on a Web Server that your files can
reside on
- A URL (internet address) to your space on that Web Server (ex.
www.yoursite.com)
- A Username and Password to access your space on that Web Server
- An FTP Program (ie.
Cute FTP, WSFTP, etc.) or HTML Software (ie.
FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc.)
Q. How do you upload a website?
top
A. Follow your software directions - here are some
general instructions:
- Open up your FTP Program or HTML Software
- Create a New Address, etc. or Define an Address / Site for your
"remote" site by entering in your URL (internet address)
to your space on a Web Server given to your by your Hosting Company,
ISP (Internet Service Provider), etc.
- Type in your Username and Password given to you by your Hosting
Co. or ISP
- Enter in the Folder on your Hard Drive where your website files
are located. This is often referred to as your "local"
site.
- Select the files from your "local" site you want to
upload by highlighting them
- Click the transfer button, or the arrow pointing to your "remote"
site
Transfer should take place, and your files may be viewed upon completion.
For further questions or support, you should refer to your Software
Help Section or Manual.
Q. What is the proper way to upload using
FrontPage? top
